Remark: “Alarm/Vacancy”, “Comfort” and “Party”
functions can be active at the same time! (See also
example 4)
Sensor-sensitivityt
Basic setting e.g. after RESET = S
According to the current needs the sensitivity can be
increased of decreased with (+) and (-) keys.
+
With the (+) key the standard range of 14m can
be increased up to approx. 16m.
S
With S the return to standard sensitivity is pos-
sible.
-
With the (-) key the range can be reduced down
to approx 10m.
(Reference is made for range indications to 18°C
ambient temperature).
Light Off
Hint: After switching off the light there will be
a dead time of 9 sec. in which no motion is
detected.
By means of this it is possible to move out of
the detection area without switching on the light
again.
Reset in “unlocked” condition
RESET
Means erasing of all of the values set using the
IR-RC remote control. The brightness and time
settings are switched back to the values set using
the adjustable knob and the following applies:
LED = on, PIR = on, PARTY = off
LIGHT = off, TEST = off
SENSITIVITY = standard
VACATION/COMFORT = off, ALARM = off
Hint: After acknowledgement the function LED
flashes for a period of 5 sec.
Reset in locked condition
RESET
Means:
PARTY = off, LIGHT = off, TEST = off,
VACATION/COMFORT setting = off.
Hint: Acknowledgement without flashing of the
LED.
Locking
Once all the setting have been made the LUXO-
MAT
®
RC-plus to be locked again.
In locked state only the following keys will be
acknowledged:
TEST,
TEST
RESET,
RESET
LIGHT OFF
and PARTY
To erase EEPROM
Attention: In case of a defect or lost remote control
LUXOMAT
®
IR-RC, the EEPROM can be erased and the
adjustment dials will be deactivated as follows:
Set the dials to TEST and SUN/DAY position
Disconnect the mains supply and then reconnect.
Function control LED is flashing at a rate of 1 sec., i.e.
EEPROM is erased.
Now the wanted settings with the adjustments knobs
can be done.
In normal operation LUXOMAT
®
IR-RC, please ensure
the dials are not set in TEST/DAY position. Otherwise
there can be loss of data of the actual light level set-
tings in case of a mainfailure.
Programming examples 1-4
(see also graphical display of program hierarchie)
Example 1:
(LUXOMAT
®
RC-plus “opened/unlocked” )
Putting into operation
– Wait one minute until the self test has been com-
pleted. This test is indicated by flashing of the
LED.
The LUXOMAT
®
RC-plus is automatically locked!
– Press the “open” button
This means, that the LUXOMAT
®
RC-plus is now
ready to receive and process other commands.
Observe the flashing of the connected lights and
the LED. If there is no reaction, press the
key
once again until there is an optical acknowledge-
ment.
Programs can now be entered in any desired
sequence. Ensure optical acknowledgement each
time you press a button.
The last program entered is valid.
à
Set time to 1 min.: Key
1
min
, optical
acknowledgement!
Perform movement test. If the light does not turn
on, the dusk value is set incorrectly. Then
à
read in current light value: Key , acknowledge-
ment!
Lichtvalue up to max 2500 lus, limited internally! In
case of higher brightness to turn over to dayopera-
tion .
à
Enter alarm function: Key
Alarm
, acknowledge-
ment!
Perform movement test; the light flashes for 30
sec. Then, constant light for the rest of the time
selected.
à
Switch off light: Key , light is off.
The light can be switched off in every program func-
