The scooter should now function properly again. If it does not, please
contact your mobility dealer or our customer service.
4.6. Disengaging the drive unit
In order to save as much space as possible for transport, the drive unit,
including the motor and rear wheels, can be disengaged.
You must also remove the batteries when carrying out work; please be
extremely careful about this. Do not use metal tools, do not touch the
battery terminals and ensure that you follow the battery manufacturer‘s
instructions.
This work should only be done by a trained technici-
an. There is danger of fatal injury!
For your safety, the seat must be lifted by two peop-
le, as it is the heaviest individual part (17 kg).
•
First of all, you must remove the seat and the panel.
•
For this purpose, rotate the seat 90° and remove it.
•
The panel is fixed using 2 hand screws.
•
Undo these and take the panel off.
•
Disconnect the plug connection of the rear lighting.
•
The batteries should then be removed. To make this easier, the
cables are fitted with plug connections.
•
Disconnect the plug connections (Fig. 26) for both batteries.
•
Undo the hook-and-loop fastener and carefully lift the battery out.
•
Now, undo the screw joint (Fig. 27). You do not need to completely
remove the screw to do this.
•
Remove the safety split pin (Fig. 28).
