Chapter 2 — Installing the Modem Drivers in

1. Start Windows NT
®

2. Place your CD/floppy disk into the CD-ROM drive/floppy disk drive.
3. Click the Start button on the taskbar and click Run. Type
" D:\winnt\**\setup.exe " (assuming you have placed the CD in a CD-
ROM drive labelled as D)

** is 7800-u for MDP7800-U PCI modem
7800v-u for MDP7800V-U PCI modem
7800sp-u for MDP7800SP-U PCI modem
For drivers found on diskette, type " A:\setup.exe " (assuming you have
inserted the Installation Disk #1 into drive A).
4. Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the software installation.
5. Restart your system.
This completes the installation of the modem drivers in Windows NT
®
