OPERATION
To avoid possible damage to you, please make sure to follow the below instructions during
operation:

Never use the machine without rear flap or grass box connected (fig.14A)
Do not attempt to lift up the rear part of the machine, instead, to hold up the front part of
machine to get the machine re-start when it fails to rotate owing to too strong grass (fig.14B)
On slopes, always mow sideways, never up and down. Avoid extremely steep slopes (fig.14C)
Never put your hands or feet near or under rotating parts. Always keep away from the
discharge opening, if possible (fig.14D)
CONNECT TO POWER SUPPLY
Connect the male plug of the extension cable to the mains power supply (230-240V ~ 50 Hz).
Ensure that sufficient extension cable slack is available.
STARTING / STOPPING YOUR LAWNMOWER
Starting:
ATTENTION: Tilt your lawnmowers slightly backwards (the front of your lawnmower up) when you
turn it on.
Press and hold safety button (4) (see Fig 15) then squeeze the switch lever (2) towards the handle.
(See Fig 16) Release the safety button (4).

Stopping:
Release the switch lever
ATTENTION: After switching off, the cutting blade will go on turning for a few seconds, make sure
the blade has come to a complete stillness.
CAUTION: Do not rapidly switch off and on
MOWING / CUTTING THE GRASS
Select a cutting height to suit the actual height of the grass. If necessary, mow the same section
several times so that no more than 4cm is removed at a go.
Make sure that you will avoid paths which could hamper free movement of the extension cable.
