OPERATION

Before operation
Note!
Since the appliance and its heating coils are slightly greased when delivered, there might be a
slight development of smoke and odour the first time it is used. This is harmless and stops after a
short a while. Be sure to provide for sufficient ventilation during such time.

Warning! Ensure that there is sufficient distance from the wall, fixtures or other appliances. The
distance must be at least 1 m to exclude the risk of fire.

1)Remove all packaging material and keep out of reach of children. After removing packaging, check
the appliance for damage or other signs that could indicate a fault/defect/malfunction. In case of
doubt, do not use the appliance, but contact your vendor for inspection or replacement.
2) Choose a suitable location which is at least one metre away from any obstructions, walls or
inflammable materials (see also safety instructions),
3) Make sure heater is placed on a solid, flat and horizontal surface.
4) Check if the control dial is set to 'OFF' (        ).
5) Fully extend the power cord and plug into a suitable 220-240V~  50Hz  socket. To prevent the
circuit overloading, check that no other appliances are connected to the same group.

Operation
Heater

1) Turn the thermostat dial to maximum (clockwise).
2) Switch the heater on by turning the control dial to one of the following three positions:

                      Heating at low power (650W)
                      Heating at medium power (1300W)
                      Heating at high power (2000W)

3) It is most economical to heat the space at high power, then once the desired temperature is
reached, turn the thermostat dial back slowly until you hear a click. The desired temperature is now
set. The heater will automatically switch on and off to maintain the set temperature.
To set a higher or lower temperature, turn the thermostat dial either clockwise or anticlockwise.

Fan

1) Turn the thermostat knob in anticlockwise to the minimum position, then turn the switch to the
position <                                               >for the fan function.

2)  You may use the fan throughout the year to circulate the air in the room.

Overheat Safety Device:

Your heater is fitted with a safety device to switches
off the heating function in the event of overheating.
If the safety device operated, the heating function stop, the fan continue to run to dissipate the
heater and let heater completely cool, once the temperature is below the operated temperature of
safety device, the heater will restart to heat.
If the heater fails to operate or the safety device switches the heater off again, return heater to your
nearest service center for examination or repair.
