Readout Speed Display

Press the start button

, the spindle will be
forward turning; the speed is 100r/min. Press
the reverse button

to turn the spindle in
the oppsite direction.
Press the Speed Up Button

to increase the
spindle speed or the Speed Down Button

to decrease it.
If the lathe over-loads, for example, cutting too
much, just turn off the power by pressing the
stop button

then switch it on again, by
pressing the Start Button

and increasing
the spindle speed as required.
Familiarise yourself with the lathe controls
shown in the figure below. Make sure the
Emergency Stop Button

is pushed down
before continuing.
Turn the switch

to the left for the lathe
function. The power indicator

will light up.

if it does not light up, unplug the lathe
and check the fuse on the lathe and then the
