If adjustment is required, loosen the tracking control locking
wheel (a) and turn the tracking wheel (b) clockwise or
anti-clockwise until the belt is tracking in the centre. Tighten
the locking wheel against the steel plate to secure the setting.
DO NOT make large adjustments,
and remember the belt may take
time to react to your alteration.
Little by little is a good maxim
to observe when carrying out
tracking operations!

DISCONNECT THE MACHINE FROM
THE MAINS SUPPLY!
Once done, switch off the machine by pressing the ‘RED’ button
and wait until the sander comes to a complete stop.
45˚ Degree Tilt Assembly
The Belt assembly can be tilted and set between 0-45˚ degrees as
shown on the tilt scale, see fig 12. To adjust, move the main work table
back to prevent the belt coming into contact, see fig 13-14. Loosen the
motor tilt assembly by pushing the locking lever (a) down. Pivot the belt

assembly using the operating handle (b) until the belt is at the required
angle, see fig 15. Pull the locking lever up to secure.
NOTE: The edge of the clamping lever hub doubles up as pointer
for the scale, see fig 16.

Reset both work tables to 1.6mm from the abrasive belt and secure.
