Additional settings
1. Go to
Settings > PTZ > Preset positions
.
Both channels share the same preset configurations.
2. Create the home position that includes the area of interest.
3. Create a zoomed-in preset position, called
Gate position
, that covers the area in the image where you predict
that the moving object will appear.
Create a rule to zoom in with the visual channel when the thermal channel detects motion:
1. Go to
Settings > System > Events
and add a rule.
2. Name the rule
Gatekeeper
.
3. In the list of conditions, under
Applications
, select
Motion Guard: Gate profile (Thermal)
.
4. In the list of actions, under
Preset positions
, select
Go to preset position
.
5. Under
Video channel

6. Under

and set the duration for the camera to stay in the gate position (wait at least 30 seconds before
returning to home position).
