SECTION 2
HARDWARE INSTALLATION
The eBOX700-891-FL is convenient for various hardware configurations, such as CPU,
DRAM, HDD (Hard Disk Drive), SSD (Solid State Drive), PCIe x4 expansion slot and PCI
Express Mini card modules. Section 2 contains guidelines for hardware installation.
2.1 Installation of CPU
Step 1 Turn off the system.
Step 2 Loosen all screws to remove top cover.
Step 3 Remove the warning label and disengage load lever.
 Disengage load lever by releasin
 Rotate load lever to open position at approximately 135°.
 Rotate load plate to open position at approximately 150°.
Note
Apply pressure to corner with right-hand thumb when opening or
closing load lever - otherwise lever will bounce back (as a mouse trap)
causing bent contacts.
