Communication configurations
7.2.1
Device type (0x1000)
The device type object (0x1000) identifies the type of the product. Data in the lower 4 bytes
0x0196 ( 406 as decimal number) tells that the module fulfills the CIA encoder profile
DS406. Data in the four upper bytes tells that the module is a single turn absolute encoder.

7.2.2
Device identity (0x1018)
Device identity object identifies the module vendor, vendors product code and the revision
number. Serial number feature is not supported at the moment.

Emergency messages
Device provides error information to other modules connected to the CAN bus by sending
EMCY messages. More detailed information can be found from CAN open chapter.
Supported EMCY codes are listed in table below.
