UWAGA
: tworzenie macierzy RAID i formatowanie Low Level skasuje

• W BIOSie płyty głównej należy właściwie nastawić priorytety bootowania (podajemy przykłady ustawień dla
AMI BIOS i AwardBIOS):
►
priorytet dysków twardych dla bootowania należy nastawić w menu Boot/Hard Disk Drives (AMI) albo
Advanced/Hard Disk Boot Priority (Award). Jako pierwszy należy zawsze nastawić macierz RAID, na którym
zostanie zainstalowany system operacyjny.
►
ustawienia kolejności bootowania z odnalezionych urządzeń należy nastawić w menu Boot/Boot Device
Priority (AMI) albo Advanced/First resp. Second Boot Device (Award). Jako pierwszy należy nastawić CD-
ROM z medium instalacyjnym, jako drugi macierz RAID.

Win XP
: Na początku instalacji Windows XP na dolnym pasku pojawi się napis: "Jeśli chcesz zainstalować inne
urządzenia SCSI albo RAID, naciśnij F6". Naciśnij przycisk [F6], włóż dyskietkę ze sterownikiem sterownika PCI i
naciśnij [Enter]. Wybierz właściwy sterownik dla swojego OS i kontynuuj instalację.

Win Vista
: W trakcie instalacji Windows Vista wybierz opcję Wczytaj sterownik. Wprowadź opcję Przeglądaj i
wybierz jednostkę oraz folder ze sterownikiem dla sterownika PCI. Wybierz plik z końcówką .inf w zależności
od systemu operacyjnego (\si3114r5.inf dla Windows Vista lub Windows Vista 64bit). Wybierz odpowiednią
macierz RAID, na której zostanie zainstalowany system i kontynuuj instalację.

INSTALLATION STEPS
1.
Back up the data on the hard disks to be connected to the controller.
2.
Switch off your computer and unplug the power cable.
3.
Open the case and insert the controller in a free PCI slot.
4.
Connect your internal hard drive or optical disc drive to the controller using a suitable cable.
5.
Connect power to the hard disk or optical drive.
6.
You can connect the HDD LED in the PC case to the JP4 connector to indicate the HD activity
(Fig. A).
7.
Close the case, plug in the power cable and switch on your computer.
8.
The controller is detected and the installation wizard is launched.
9.
Navigate your system in this wizard to find out the drivers on your CD.
10.
Insert the CD with drivers. The controller will be automatically installed.
11.
Check your successful installation in Device Manager (Fig. 1).
12.
Initialize your new disk and format it in Disk Manager.

QUICK INSTALLATION GUIDE
AXAGO PCIS-50 is a PCI controller enabling to connect up to four SATA disks or optical drives. The controller is
fitted with four internal SATA/150 ports with a possibility to configure the connected disks into a disk array.
The part of supply is a Windows application that enables the user to set up the array simply in RAID 0, 1, 5 and
10 modes.
