• The devices equipped with ball bearings are designed for a minimum operating life of 30,000 hours in S1 duty
cycle at the maximum power output and the maximum ambient temperature.
• The control system must prevent extremely frequent power cycling.
Transport and storage
• Keep the fans in their original packaging in a dry, sheltered room.
• The transport and storage ambient temperature limits are -20 °C to +40 °C.
• Protect against impact and shocks. Transport the fan in its original packaging.
• If the storage time exceeds 1 year, the motor bearings of the fan must be tested by turning the fan rotor by
hand before installation. The fan rotor must run smoothly.
• Dispose of the fan at the end of its operating life strictly in accordance with environmental protection and
waste management laws.
• Should it occur, damage caused by improper transport, handling, storage or commissioning will be
demonstrated and is not on warranty.
ACCESSORIES
Available optional accessories:
Terminal block (standard version, no part index suffix).
Connect the fan equipped with the terminal block
as shown in the electrical wiring diagram, see Fig. 2.
The central fan is started and stopped by a separate on/off switch installed in the power supply line of the
building (and not included with the product). The rotational speed may be set permanently depending on the
connection or adjusted with an additional switch dedicated to single-phase, three-gear engines.
Hyg Timer (part name suffix 'HT').
Connect the central fan with the stop delay timer (a stop delay
switch) as shown in the electrical wiring diagram, see Fig. 3.
The air humidity sensor operating range is 0% to 100% of relative humidity. The humidity level should be
adjusted by means of a knob located on the front part of the fan casing. The set includes a two-button
flush-mounted switch with a surface-mounting box. After switching the left key to the "ON" position, the fan will
start working in the 1st gear. When the humidity rises above the value set by the knob, the fan will automatically
increase the speed (2nd gear). After the humidity drops below the set value, the fan will return to operation in
1st gear. Pressing the "TURBO" key once will activate the 15-minute ventilation mode (3rd gear). Holding down
the "TURBO" key for more than 5 seconds starts the ventilation mode for 1 hour. To interrupt the hourly
ventilation mode, hold down the "TURBO" key again for more than 5 seconds. Switching the left key to the "OFF"
position switches off the fan and resets the currently started ventilation time countdown.
Note! The recommended relative humidity in single-family houses is 40 - 60%.
INSTALLATION
The central fan shall only be installed, connected to electrical mains and commissioned for
use by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable laws !
Assembly sequence
• Precise where and how the fan will be installed. Two installation methods are permitted:
- With the help of the line and the hook pin included in the set. Then a hole Ø8 should be made for the dowel
in the wooden beam roof or ceiling rafter framing directly above the fan. The height of the fan can be adjusted
with the length of the line. Installation method is shown in Figure 9.
- The fan can also be mounted directly on the wall or ceiling. Beforehand, drill holes for screws or dowels in the
fan housing, in locations indicated in Figure 10.
• Prepare the power cord. Use
NYM-O 5x1.5 mm² (H07V-K 5x1.5 mm²) or 2x NYM-O 3x1.5 mm² (H07V-K
3x1.5 mm²), depending on the optional accessories provided.
• Swivel off the cover retaining clips (
3
) using a screwdriver or other tool with a flat, rigid shank (
Fig.6
), and then
remove the fan cover (
6
).
