1. Introduction
The IntelliTrack Module is tracking software that performs regular step tracking while measuring
signal power. With this information the module is able to produce a model with a custom
mathematical algorithm that provides accurate tracking after the model is built by the software.
This process is much more accurate than other tracking methods, such as simple step tracking,
when used to track target satellites with highly inclined orbits.
This document describes the concepts
required to use the AvL AAQ IntelliTrack Module and provides a detailed explanation of the associated
module configuration items that are accessible through the AAQ GUI as part of the AvL AAQ Controller.
