Model 1040/XL User’s Manual

Indicator Diagnostics

The test mode is used to test various functions of the 1040 Indicator. The
test menu is shown in Figure 10. Instructions for using the test menu are
found below.

Access the Test Menu

You can test the following functions of the indicator with this menu:

VOLTS

Monitor the input voltage of the indicator

LCD

Perform a test of the LCD display

KEYPAD

Peform a key test

A/D

Test the Analog to Digital function

SERIAL

Check serial ports 1 and 2

INPUTS

Check the 7 TTL inputs (INPUT.1 is XM64, SPEED is for Self
Adjusting Time mode.

RELAY

Check the alarm relay

SOFT

Verify the software verision of the indicator

Use the

MENU

and

SELECT

keys to navigate the menu shown in Figure 10
