Head
Flush Procedures
1. On the right side of the bowl is the pump handle. On the front of the pump is a
selector valve for “WET” or “DRY” Flush”.
2. With the selector set to “WET” pump handle to fill the bowl.
3. With the selector set to “DRY” pump handle until the bowl is empty.
4. Always leave the selector to “DRY”position to avoid flooding.
NOTE: NO TOILET PAPER IN THE HEAD. Please use the small waste basket
and dispose of Toilet Paper properly on shore. Nothing goes in the bowl that
has not been consumed!
Flush
Direct Overboard
NOTE: Operate Only When 3 Miles Out At Sea
1. Locate “Y” valve in Navigation station cabinet and turn handle so that the flow
goes out to sea. Handle is labeled so that “Closed” points to the hose not being
used.
2. Open thru-hull located in front of Y-valve in Navigation station cabinet .
3. Use head and flush; the same directions apply as in the previous section
“Flushing Procedures”.
4. Close the thru-hull
5. Return “Y” valve so the flow goes to “Tank”
NOTE: On Discrepancy Report note that Zip-Tie has been cut. Staff will install
new tie.
General Notes
Stove
To operate the stove:
1. Turn on the propane tank located under the helm seat by turning valve on top of
the tank counter clockwise until valve is fully open.
2. Make sure House Battery switch is ON.
3. Located “LP” “Gas Valve” on Electrical Control Panel, turn on.
4. On the stove select the burner knob to be used, light with match (no ignition
button)
NOTES: If burner does not light, check tank for contents should weigh about
35 lbs full. When Stove Is Not In Use And At The End Of Cruise, Turn Off All
Switches And Valves!!!
Bilge Pump
Manual Bilge Pump:
located under the Helm seat on the port side. The pump
handle to the manual bilge is located in the boat bag
Automatic Bilge Pump:
Switch is located on the Electrical Control Panel.
Shower Sump Pump
Turn on switch located on the Electrical Control Panel labeled ”WATER
PRESSURE/ SHOWER PUMP” to run sump and fresh water pump.
An activation switch for the sump pump is located in head, turn on when needed.
NOTE: Be sure to open the thru-hull located under the sink in the head to
drain overboard before operating pump.
Hot Water Heater
Engine must be running to use.
Refrigerator
Monitor voltage when using refrigerator when anchored or moored; charge
batteries at 12.2 volts (see Battery Charging).
