Type
Universal 3cyl diesel (M25 x P) Located under the companion way steps;
lift up and out to remove upper steps, cover panel and lower steps
Dipstick
Located low on the Starboard side of engine below the air intake
NOTE:
After checking oil level be sure that the dipstick is fully seated in its tube!

Glow Plug
Turn the ignition key to the right and hold for 40 seconds.
Throttle
Starboard side of the Helm/Pedestal
Shift
Port side of the Helm/Pedestal. In reverse, prop-walk is to port.
NOTE: Shift at idle speeds only!
Engine Start
Disconnect shore power.
1. Turn battery switch to “ON” (See: Batteries Switches)
2. Make sure “Shift” lever is in neutral.
3. Advance “Throttle” 50%.
4. Turn the ignition key to the right and hold for 40 seconds.
5. Push black START button on Cockpit Control Panel.
6. When engine has run for a few seconds the “Low Oil Pressure” alarm should
stop buzzing. If buzzer continues to sound, STOP engine and check the oil level
(SEE: “Dipstick”). Call operations.
NOTE:
If engine does not start within 5 seconds of “cranking”, STOP and retry steps
4 & 5.
Stop Engine
Engine kill handle located on Cockpit Control Panel. After engine has stopped,
push handle back in, turn key to off position.
