ATTACHING & REMOVING THE TRAILER TO/FROM CHAIN STAY
Fasten the clamp to the underside of the non-drive side chain stay(lower frame tube that runs
from the crank to the rear axle) tighten tension knob securely. Wrap the safety strap around the
chain stay of the bike and snap the hook into the D-ring attached to the trailer arm.
CAUTION
If the hitch interferes with your bike or other bike attachments, or if it does not tighten securely,
do not use. Contact your bike dealer for help with proper installation.
ATTACHING & REMOVING THE TRAILER TO/FROM REAR AXLE
(With optional AVENIR Axle Mount Hitch #72-27-008)
Fasten the hitch connector onto the rear axle using the hub axle nut or QR skewer. Attach the
hitch arm and connector on the hub axle with the safety pin. Wrap the safety strap around the
chain stay of the bike and securely fasten back to the D-ring attached to the hitch arm.
Operate it in the opposite order to remove the hitch arm from the bike.

CAUTION
The height of the hitch clamp shall not exceed 400 mm above a road surface and the standard
drawbar load shall be between 30N and 80N.
WARNING
Ensure the safety pin is secured with the spring clip. Please ensure your bike is completely
compatible with the trailer. If the hitch interferes with your bike or other bike attachments, or if it
does not tighten securely, do not use. Contact your bike dealer for help with proper installation.
