- The detectors are, of course, designed to recognise specific gases

(only methane or LPG). Do not rely on them to detect other kinds of
gas.

- On power supplying, await two minutes before testing the device.

Do not carry out any test by opening the gas cock.

WARNING

In case of alarm:

1) Estinguish any flames.
2) Close the cock of the gas meter or the LPG bottle.
3) Do not switch any lamps on or off and do not switch any electrical

appliances or devices.

4) Ventilate the room by opening doors and windows.

If the alarm stops it is necessary to find the cause that triggered it and
take suitable action.

If the alarm continues and the causing gas leak is not found or stopped
leave the building immediately and call the emergency service.

DIRECTIONS
Products should be sold in their original packaging. When this is not the case, the retailer or/and the
installer is obliged to follow, as well as communicate to the user, the instructions of use which are sup-
plied with the product. After opening the packaging, check that the appliance is undamaged. Do not
use the appliance if there is any doubt, but contact a qualified technician. Even before unpacking, the
appliance should be handled with care and be stored in a dry place at temperatures of not less than
–5°C and not higher than +40°C.

• This product must be installed by a qualified electrician.
• Before carrying out any work on the appliance, the main supply switch shall be turned off, by cutting

the power off.

• Special care should be taken in the preparation of the cable terminals to be inserted into the applian-

ce terminals so as to maintain sufficient isolation distance between them. Use 1,5 mm

conductors.

• When tightening the terminal screws special care should be taken to avoid overheating which could

start a fire or damage the cables.

• Unless specified otherwise, this product is for use in dry, dust-free areas. Suitable products should

be used in any other conditions.

• The devices could malfunction or cause electric shocks if tampered with.
• Install products and accessories according to standard in force for electrical systems.
