OPERATING DESCRIPTION
Signals
The front part of the device is pierced to facilitate contact between the
gas to be detected and the semiconductor-based sensor. The front of the
device is provide with three leds operating as follows:
Push-button P1
Push-button P1 has the following functions:
1. Test function. By pressing the push-button for 4 seconds, the detec-
tor will emit a sound alarm and, upon releasing the push-button, the
test function will be activated offering the possibility of testing the
visual and sound alarms.
The test function includes the following steps:
Activation of the TEST by a BEEP
P
Red led ON for 15 s
P
Yellow led ON for 15 s
P
End of TEST operations by a BEEP
Whereas, by pressing the push-button for 8 seconds at least, after the
first signal the detector will emit another sound alarm . The test function
includes the relay testing.
2. Alarm memory reset. To reset the internal alarm memory signalled by
