Plug the other end of the telephone cord into the telephone jack connected
to the communications system.

Plug the AC adapter into a standard 120VAC wall outlet.

Check to see that the power LED is on.

Raise the base unit antenna to the vertical position. The antenna should be
parallel to the wall.
