Installation Manual

1.7  Wire fix alignment

Having mounted the service lift, the wire ropes,
and the power, the wire rope fix fittings are
adjusted during the initial ascent.

a)  Perform the tests prescribed in section 5 of the 

User’s Manual.

b) Install wires as shown in Fig. 14.

By means of the oblong holes in the wire rope
fix fittings, adjust the fittings so that the two
parts pass each other easily, when the lift
passes.

CAUTION!

Wire rope fixes must be mounted on
guide wire ropes on all platforms with
max. 98.42 ft (30 m) between each wire
rope fix.

ATTENTION!

During ascent and descent service lift,
make sure the power cable uncoils and
coils evenly.

ATTENTION!

If tripods are used for guide wire rope
fixing, tighten the wire rope locking
device after the first run.
