Removing a blockage
Clogging of the feed auger is in most cases
caused by drive speed. If the auger can’t throw
the snow fast enough, drive speed must be
reduced. Clogging of the discharge chute is
affected by the type of snow in addition to
hydraulic oil flow (loader engine rpm). Do not hit
the snow blower against the ground to clear
blockages, as the attachment may get damaged.
If the Snow blower gets blocked or stops
unexpectedly, stop the attachment by following
the safe stopping procedure and check the
discharge chute.
DANGER
Entanglement and cutting hazards - Never put your
hands inside the discharge chute.
Beware of cutting and
entanglement hazards near the snow blower, never leave the
driver’s seat if the attachment is switched on, or if it can start
unexpectedly. Always stop the snow blower and the loader
following the safe stopping procedure before going near the
attachment. Always use suitable tool to clear blockages,
never put your hands inside the discharge chute. The
discharge chute guard can be used to clear the chute, lock
the guard in its place immediately after clearing a blockage.

WARNING
Beware of entanglement and crushing hazards especially
when removing blockages.
If a blockage is cleared without
first turning off the auxiliary hydraulics of the loader, the
auger and the thrower rotor will start immediately and can
cause serious injuries. Always stop the attachment by turning
the auxiliary hydraulics control lever to its neutral position
before leaving the driver’s seat, shut down the loader engine,
and release the residual pressure of the hydraulic system.
