WARNING
Risk of tipping over - Make sure the attachment is secured against any
movement during storage.
If necessary, use, for example, blocks of wood under
the supports to ensure adequate stability.
5.3.1
Removing the backhoe from a loader
1.
Set outriggers for storage
Set the outriggers of the backhoe evenly on level and solid surface.
2.
Operate the backhoe to set it to correct storage position
Leave bucket just off the ground to allow to move the backhoe for removal of the support bracket pin
3.
Turn the auxiliary hydraulics control lever of the loader to its neutral position.
4.
Release the locking device of the support bracket.
Tilt the loader boom as necessary to ease the release of the locking device.
5.
Shut down the loader engine and release residual hydraulic pressure
While the engine is turned off, turn the operating levers of the backhoe from the driver’s seat to all
directions. Turn also the auxiliary hydraulics control lever to its extreme positions. This procedure will
release the residual pressure left in the hydraulic hoses of the backhoe, and the bucket and the
backhoe booms will lower to a stable position.
6.
Disconnect hydraulic hoses.
7.
Turn and secure the control valve stand to its storage position with its strap.
8.
Release the locking pins of the quick coupling plate and drive the loader away from the backhoe.
5.3.2
Using the storage/transport support
Before storage, transport, or service:
Lock the boom of the backhoe to prevent it
from moving or falling
1.
Keep the backhoe locked to the loader
2.
Operate the controls of the backhoe to
move its boom to centre position and lift
so that the red bar can be locked
3.
Secure the storage support with its
cotter pin
