18.
Instructions: First Start-Up
1.
Check that the units are level
2.
Check that all wiring and cabling is connected
3.
Remove any object that could come into contact with the moving glass obstacles and/or the
mechanism
4.
Ensure that no one is standing in the lane or working on the SmartLane unit
5.
Check the connection of the 120-V power supply
6.
Check that all fuses are in place and working properly
7.
Switch on the main circuit breaker, located behind the Master front door
•
Check the voltage of the 24-VDC power supply
8.
Switch on the secondary circuit breaker and the CB3 and CB4 motor breakers
•
Upon power-up, the initialization sequence begins with the opening of the glass obstacles,
which normally close within a short delay
9.
Open and close the moving glass obstacles several times using the available electrical controls
(push button, reader, remote control or other validator)
•
Check that the speed controller is within the range of positive values when the moving glass
obstacle opens and within the range of negative values when it closes
•
Check that the moving glass obstacle is correctly positioned in the open and closed position
(reaches the limit switches)
10.
Check that all optional functions are operating properly
11.
Switch off the main circuit breaker
•
Check that the moving glass obstacle opens completely in the event of a power cut (proper
operation of the “anti-panic” system)
12.
Switch the main circuit breaker back on
