The sliding bands are thin plastic strips glued on the stainless steel shutter guides to
avoid contact between the metal and the moving shutter (see
Figure
20
item [1]). The sliding bands
could wave over time if they are in contact with cleaning products (e.g., window cleaner); avoid any
liquid penetrating in this area.
Look for premature damage and plastic grindings.
Manually open and close mobile obstacles slowly to detect abnormal noises or resistance in the
movement caused by the shutter, shutter guides or sliding bands.
Grease moving parts and shutter guides.

DIRAS
DIRAS are really sensitive. Avoid moving DIRAS.
Verify that all DIRAS are solidly attached. The DIRAS are positioned behind the Plexiglas in the
panels, behind the Plexiglas below the top of the unit and behind the Plexiglas on each side of the
fixed obstacle (option).
Ensure each DIRAS is working properly using the maintenance panel (MP38). D
o not modify dip
switch configurations even if a malfunction has been detected.
Verify proper alignment of all DIRAS, horizontal or vertical, depending on their position. DIRAS are
very sensitive, be careful not to accidently move, hit or misalign a DIRAS.
