Cleaning the platform: clean and remove any dirt on the platform and on
the fixing plates for the arms

Cleaning and greasing the front flap: clean and remove any dirt on the
flap, pins, cams, Delrin runners, spring, and hinge shaft. Check that the
flap can open and close easily and grease shaft, pins and cam with
lithium soap grease.

Cleaning inside the housing: slide the fastening clips out, take the bottom
cover off the housing and clean the inside of the housing

Checking the oil level in the hydraulic control unit: lower the platform fully.
Use a measuring tape to check the oil level is 125 mm below the lower
edge of the tank (see photo).

Inspecting the tightness of the screws: all the screws have to be tightened
all the way down.

Greasing the rack and pinion: only grease the rack and pinion with
lithium soap grease.

Cleaning and greasing of guides, carriage bearings with
lithium soap
grease

Checking the stability of the rear and front flaps: with the platform fully
out and open, the two flaps must be in vertical position and should not
move.

Checking the opening/closing speed of the platform: check the platform
opens and closes at a constant speed. IMPORTANT: Changes in the
opening speed could be a sign of the platform rubbing against the
housing inside

Checking the lift does its emergency actions: check the lift completes all
the emergency actions as indicated in the chapter in the "use and
maintenance manual"

Inspecting for knocks and damage: check the lift has not been subject to
knocks or damage.
