Functionality Overview
Each system will have a specific set of functions described thereafter. Most functions
will provide the opportunity to take a snapshot using the function keys.
Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Identification:
The ECU identification will give the
electronic signature of the ECU.
Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory:
All registered DTCs in the relevant
ECU are indicated on the display. Use
and
to move the cursor for more
information on each DTC. Additional information about the fault is then shown on the
display. The numerical codes can be used to look in the service literature for more
information about the component or fault.

F1 - User help.
F2 - Erase DTCs.
