the vehicle menu.
System
Displays the major commercial vehicle system
manufacturers.
Search
Touching this button opens the virtual keyboard,
allowing you to manually enter the specific
vehicle make.
Manufacturer Buttons
The Manufacturer buttons display the various vehicle brand. To start a diagnostic session,
select the proper manufacturer button after the VCI device is properly connected to the
test vehicle.

The MaxiSys MS909CV diagnostic system supports five methods of Vehicle Identification.
1. Auto Detect
2. Manual Input
3. Scan VIN/License
4. Manual Vehicle Selection

4.1.3.1 Auto Detect
The MaxiSys MS909CV diagnostic system features the latest VIN-based AutoVIN Scan
function to identify CAN vehicles with just one tap, enabling the technician to quickly
identify the exact vehicle and scan its available systems for fault codes.
To perform an AutoVIN Scan
1. Tap the
Diagnostics
application button from the MaxiSys Job Menu. The Vehicle
Menu displays.
