Maintenance

Maintenance is essential to keep your camper in a safe and usable condition. Campers are no different to any other
motor vehicle and require servicing at regular intervals which may vary according to use and the environment in
which it is used. The service schedule outlines the service intervals for safe travelling and your owner obligations
under our warranty policy. Servicing should always be carried out by a competent person with relevant experience.

WARNING:

•

Never work beneath the camper while suspended on a jack. Always use “Jack Stands” with an adequate SWL.

• Always use dedicated jacking points
•

240volt appliances and wiring must only be serviced and repaired by a qualified tradesperson.

•

Gas plumbing must only be serviced and repaired by a qualified gas fitter

Modifications

Chassis, drawbar, and suspension

Drilling, welding, cutting, or modifying these items is dangerous and, in some instances, may be illegal. AusRV
products are designed by engineers to meet strict standards. Australia has strict compliance guidelines and

engineering requirements. Unauthorised modifications without engineering accreditation may render your trailer
illegal and dangerous. Always consult the manufacturer prior to engaging in any modification in these areas.

Body

AusRV campers have wires both 240v and 12v as well as plumbing routed through the body frames in our products.
Never modify any part of the body without consulting with the manufacturer on the location of these services.

Electrical

Australian Design Rules and compliance for camper electrical systems apply to this product. Any 240-volt additions

or modifications must only be undertaken by a suitably qualified electrician and a new compliance certificate

supplied by the person doing the work.

Gas System

The gas installation on your AusRV product has been designed and tested to comply with all applicable regulations.

Modification to the gas system may only be undertaken by a qualified gas fitter and meet RV requirements. Any
modifications will result in the original manufacturer gas certification being null and void and will require
re-certification by the person doing the modifications.
