Pool Cleaner Assembly

Before assembly, check that all parts are included and are in good condition.
Attach the foot (

) to the cleaner body (

). The foot must be installed so the "fingers" (

) around the edge

are facing up. Pull the foot over the ring (

) at the bottom of the cleaner body so it sits evenly and firmly.

Installation

Turn the pool pump OFF before installing the pool cleaner.

. The cleaner comes with with two types of adaptor - stepped ("type

A") and tapered ("type B"). Use whichever one fits most snugly into

the pump inlet (

). This may be on the wall of the pool or in the

skimmer box. Push the adaptor (

) firmly into the pump inlet.

. Next, the suction relief valve (

) must be connected to the

adaptor. For skimmer boxes, the 45° elbow connectors (

) can

be used on either side of the suction relief valve to create the

necessary bend so the cleaner hose exits the skimmer box

horizontally.

. Connect the "type B" hose to the suction relief valve. Then,

continue connecting "type A" hoses until the total hose length is

approximately 25% longer then the maximum distance from the

pump inlet to the pool wall. As you connect each hose,

submerge it to remove air from inside the hose and ensure that

the hose connections are firm.

. Next, connect the pool cleaner to the last hose.

If the pool is

more than 1.6m (5') deep, attach the hose weight to the

second or third hose from the pool cleaner

. Ensure that the

pump outlet jet in the pool is pointing downward to minimise

disruption to movement of the pool cleaner. If necessary, screw

the flow deflector into the outlet to redirect the flow downward.

. Check all connections are firm and that no air is trapped in

any hoses. Turn the pool pump ON. To adjust the speed of the

pool cleaner, rotate the ring on top of the suction relief valve -

rotate right (clockwise) to increase speed, rotate left

(anti-clockwise) to reduce speed.

Attach the dive float (

) to the cleaner body and secure it with the plastic bolt and nut (

). Use fingers to tighten.

Attach the deflector ring (

) to the end of the cleaner body. Push it on so the deflector ring so it clips firmly and

evenly into position. Assembly is now complete.
