Installing the Vortex Sound Card

Warning:

Static charges can damage electronic components. Ground yourself by touching the computer's
metal case or back bracket before handling any card.

Shut down, turn off, and unplug your
computer.

Disconnect the monitor, keyboard, and
other devices connected to your
computer.
It is a good idea to label these cables so
you can easily re-attach them.

Remove the computer cover—you may
have to use a screwdriver to do so.
Be sure to save any mounting screws.
