Operation Mode A (pre-configured Telephone immediate Call Acception):
In case of operation mode A only a certain internal telephone number is reachable from the Internet.
Thereby the process is like during a „normal“ call for the caller as well as for the called person.
Operation Mode B (pre-configured Telephone Call Acception after Confirmation):
Also in case of the operation mode B only a certain internal telephone number is reachable from the
Internet. From the caller’s view the process is like the operation mode A, while the called person has to
dial any number to accept the call after picking up the receiver. The advantage over operation mode A
is: Charges are starting for the caller only after the active acception by the called person.
Operation Mode C (Caller can dial any Telephone Number):
In case of the operation mode C the caller has the opportunity to dial any available internal or external
telephone number. This way he can also use the PBX to dial directly to an external telephone number
in the fixed network or mobile telephone network. The external call through may be restricted by the
exchange line authorization or number restrictions (e.g. 0900, 0190, 0180).
Operation Mode D (the Caller can dial any Telephone Number with additional delayed automatic Dialing):
In case of the operation mode D the caller can also dial any internal or external telephone number. But
this is only allowed by the PBX within the first seconds (2 seconds for Auerswald PBX systems) after
establishing the connection with the ATA. If the caller does nothing, the PBX will dial a pre-configured
internal or external telephone number. Like in the operation mode C the PBX can be used for dialing
through to an external telephone number in the fixed network or to the mobile telephone network. The
advantage over operation mode C is: The caller will always be connected even if he has no knowledge
about the internal telephone number.
☞
This operation mode is only possible if the function Automatic dialing/hotline/baby call/connection with-
out dialing is supported by the PBX (see manual of the PBX).
