2.1 - Description
2 - INTRODUCTION
The
Gialix
boiler is placed inside of protective casing with
a removable front panel to allow access to all parts and
components of the appliance.
The insulated, cast iron tank is equipped with 2 sheathed
steel electrical resistances anchored using a removable flange
accessible from underneath the boiler.
The front of the boiler has a control panel with a display and
control buttons; an electrical panel with integrated components
for the connection and distribution of power.
All of the hydraulic components are grouped together above the
electrical panel, which are accessible from the front of the boiler.
2.1.1 - Settings for a low temperature
application
(underfloor heating circuit only)
2.1.2 - Recap of maximum temperature settings
The boiler is delivered pre-configured for operation on a high
temperature network from 22 to 80 °C with a 100
o
C high
temperature limiter (radiator or underfloor heating with domestic
hot water production application).
For a low temperature application of 21 to 50°C with a 60°C high
temperature limiter:
• Set parameter
02
(
TCMA
) to a value less than or equal
to 50°C (see § «Setting the regulator»).
• Remove the front panel.
• Connect the 60°C aquastat. The two safety aquastats are
located above the electrical panel (see figure 1 below).
• Disconnect the double male tab.
• Connect the two wires to the 60
o
C safety aquastat.
