ADVANCED MANUAL / bit Ten D /
46
The
PHONE
input can not be selected as a normal source because
it activates exclusively when an external hands-free phone kit sends
the
MUTE
impulse when receiving a phone call. The DRC display will
show the message
bit Ten D -
PHONE CALL
. The
bit Ten D
will set the
source selected in that moment to mute, reproducing the signal
coming from the
PHONE
input. During the phone call, the volume
can be adjusted through the DRC knob.
You can bypass the DRC from the system to adjust the listening volume through the head unit and the steering wheel
if featured.
The following conditions are required to bypass the DRC:
-
you do not use the AUX input.
-
you do not use the OPTICAL IN input.
-
you do not use the memories.
The AUX and OPTICAL IN inputs can be selected anyway by a control external to the MUTE IN and PHONE MUTE
cables.
By pressing the SEL button you can access:
- DSP Memory:
A/B memories (saved through software)
can be recalled and loaded into the processor (
bit Ten D
).
- DSP Settings:
lets you go back to
the head unit volume level used when
the
bit Ten D
was calibrated.
Select YES, insert the CD Setup Track 1
in your CD player and adjust the
head unit volume so that the display
will show the message GOOD.
- Brightness:
to adapt the DRC to the light conditions inside
the car, you can adjust the display and red switch brightness.
