Auto Store (AS)
To select si [ strong stations and store them in the current band:
1 Select a band (if needed)
2 Touch the AS icon on the on-screen controls to acti Y ate the Auto Store function
The ne Z stations replace stations already stored in that band If you ha Y e already set
the preset memories to your fa Y orite stations, acti Y ating the Auto Store feature Z ill
erase those stations and enter the ne Z strong stations This feature is most useful
Z hen tra Y elling in an area Z here you are not familiar Z ith the local stations
Preview Scan (SCAN)
To scan the AM or FM band for a pre Y ie Z of a Y ailable stations in your particular area,
touch Scan The scan function Z ill play the ¿ rst ¿Y e seconds of each station When a
desired station is reached, touch Scan again Play of the selected station Z ill continue
and the pre Y ie Z scan Z ill stop
Local Radio Station Seeking (LOC)
When the Local function is on, only radio stations Z ith a strong local radio signal are
played To acti Y ate the Local function in the AM/FM tuner mode:
1 Touch the Options icon on the touch screen A pop-up Z indo Z appears
2 Touch MODE LOC/DX to turn the local function on or off
When the Local function is acti Y e, the LOC indicator at the top of the screen is
illuminated When the Distant function is acti Y e, the DX indicator at the top of the
screen is illuminated
