Registering a handset on a DECT-GAP base station from
another manufacturer
Proceed as follows to register an AUDIOLINE DECT-GAP handset on a
base station from another manufacturer:
1. Press the
F
button on the handset.
2. Press the
B
and
E
buttons to select
the “Register handset” (
v
) menu.
3. Confirm the selection by pressing the
F
.button.
4. Follow the instructions in the base station manufacturer’s
manual to switch the base station to Registration Mode.
5. Enter the PIN code of the base station
from the external manufacturer using the
digit buttons.
6. Confirm the entry by pressing the
F
button.
7. A search is made for the base station from the external
manufacturer.
Note:
The handset is then automatically assigned an internal call
number by the base station from the external manufacturer.
The internal number appears in the display to the right of the
name of the handset.
10.1.4
Deregistering handsets
A handset can only be deregistered by another handset still registered.
This means it is not possible to complete the deregistration using the
handset which is to be deregistered.
1. Press the
F
button on the handset.
2. Press the
9
button.
3. Then press the digit key
1
or
2
to
select the handset to be deregistered.
