3. OPERATION

CALL DURATION DISPLAY
During a call, the call duration in minutes and seconds is shown in the display. The indication appears in
the display ca. 10 seconds after you have dialled the number. After completion of the call, the indication is
still held in the display for ca. 10 seconds.
3.5
MUTING THE HANDSET MICROPHONE
You can switch off the handset microphone during a call using the
key. It is thus possible to speak
without the other party hearing you. The loudspeaker in the handset remains switched on and you can
continue to hear the other party.
1.
Press the
key once during a call. The “
” symbol flashes in the display.
2.
To switch the microphone on again, press the
key once more. The symbol
disappears
and you can continue the call normally.

REDIAL
Use Redial if the person called is engaged or does not reply. Your AUDIOLINE CDL971G stores the last
telephone number dialled (max. 24 digits).
1.
Press the
button. The last telephone number dialled is shown in the display

Now press the call button
and the telephone number displayed will be automatically dialled.

STORING SPEED DIAL NUMBERS
Up to 10 telephone numbers can be stored in the AUDIOLINE CDL971G, which you can call up quickly
using the speed dial button.
1.
Press the Save button
and the Speed Dial button
.
2.
Now enter the required telephone number using the keypad. The maximum length of the number can
be 24 digits.

Press the Speed Dial button
.
4.
Now select the required storage location
0
to
9
. A number already stored will be automatically
deleted as soon as you save another number in that storage location. Storing of the number is
acknowledged by a positive signal tone.
To store further numbers, repeat steps 1 to 4. Storage locations already used can be changed by
overwriting.
