Maestro X series
Playing Audio Files via Network Audio or USB
The network audio client on the Maestro X series is capable of supporting the
following file formats:
– MP3
– WMA (Windows Media Audio)
– WAV
– FLAC (Free Lossless Audio CODEC)
– vMPEG-4 AAC (iTunes with DRM10 support)
Navigate to your Maestro X web page from your computer and select Web
Client . From here you can select your USB as a source and control playback
functions.
Playing music streaming services natively
Navigate to the Web Client to engage with streaming services directly. Open a
browser and type in your Maestro X IP address/webclient. From this web client
interface, you can set up your music streaming service, like Tidal or Qobuz, and
select albums, artists and songs that the streaming service has made available.
Streaming Audio
The Maestro X series is Airplay 2 and GoogleCast enabled. Once you have your
Maestro X on the network, you can stream immediately to it via AirPlay 2 from
your favorite music app - just tap on the AirPlay icon on your device and select
your Maestro X. For Chromecast streaming, first download Google Home
from the Play store and set up your new Maestro X by following through the
prompts. Once the Maestro X is set up, you can stream directly to it from you
favorite music streaming app. The Maestro X will automatically switch over to
the Net input when it receives a music stream.
Bluetooth Streaming
To steam from a Bluetooth source, such as your phone, pair your device to
the Maestro X series via the web page or by selecting BT as the input from the
front panel menu. Once paired and the X series is set to BT input,playback your
favorite tracks.
