3.2
Viewing a Video Cassette Tape
•
Insert a video cassette into the tape slot with the label side toward the
front and the window side facing upward. The VCP will accept the
tape and pull it into the unit. Press PLAY to begin playback.
•
Press STOP during playback to stop playback. Press PLAY to resume
normal playback.
•
Pressing FF while the tape is in STOP mode causes the tape to fast-
forward until PLAY is pressed. No video will be seen during FF mode.
•
To rewind the tape, press REW while in the stop mode. The tape will
rewind. (No video will be seen during REW mode).
•
To eject a tape from the unit, press EJECT while in the STOP mode.
The video cassette tape will be ejected from the unit and partially
extend from the cassette slot for removal.
•
To activate a picture search, momentarily press FF or REW during
playback mode. The tape will run at approximately five (5) times the
normal speed. Some picture interference may be noticed during
picture search. To resume normal playback, press PLAY.
•
To freeze a frame, press PAUSE while in playback mode. The picture
will remain still. To resume normal playback, press PAUSE again. If
no buttons are pressed for approximately five (5) minutes, the unit will
automatically return to normal playback.
•
To advance a frame, press PAUSE to enter the still picture mode.
Press PLAY and the picture advances one (1) frame each time you
press the button. To resume normal playback, press PAUSE.
