If the diode test lamp does not light up:
- -> Test for continuity in the wiring from socket 1 to fuel pump relay via fuse for injectors. If necessary, rectify
open circuit.
=> Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations binder
Checking wiring connections
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove plug connector from the injector which is to be tested.
- Connect test box V.A.G 1598/31 to wiring harness for engine control unit. Do not connect to the engine
control unit itself.
