Use of the stove
When lighting the RAIS 2:1, it is important that the amount of firewood does not ex-
ceed the marking "MAX LOAD" (marked on the Skamol plate in the combustion cham-
ber - approx. 19 cm in height) which corresponds to the maximum height of filling.
Setting the air damper
There are three positions for the damper.
Position 1
The damper is closed, which means minimal air sup-
ply.
Position 2
Push the handle until it clicks in the middle position.
This position provides full secondary air.
During ordinary combustion the handle is to be set
in the range between 1 and 2.
When the flames are clear and yellow, the damper
is set correctly - resulting in a slow/optimal combus-
tion.
Position 3
Pull the lever to the right until it stops. The air damp-
er is fully open and provides full primary and second-
ary air. This position is for the lighting and refuelling
stages and is not used during normal operation.
