11.1.1. Electrical codes
The DEP
/
T6 operates safely when used according to its marked electrical ratings and
product usage instructions. Use facilities that comply with the electrical codes to
ensure the safe operation of the appliance.
Operate the product in commercial or residential structures that have electrical
installations in compliance with local and regional office and residential electrical
wiring codes such as International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 364 parts 1
through 7.
11.1.2.CE certification
Atos Worldline
declares that the DEP
/
T6 complies with the EMC directive
89/336/CEE (harmonised standards EN-55022 and EN-55024) and with Low Voltage
directive 73/23/CEE (harmonised standard EN-60950).
The declarations of conformity (DoC) will be available for consultation on the

11.2.1.Operating the DEP/T6
•
Keep the DEP
/
T6 away from heat, fire, cold, moisture or oil, electricity,
radiation, water, humidity, shocks, vibrations, chemicals or any other product that
may affect electronic devices.
•
Do not drop the DEP
/
T6, throw it or slam it; do not put any heavy equipment on
top of it or squeeze it; do not store it with explosive substances such as lighter
fuel, petrol, ether or the like.
•
Immediately discontinue use of the DEP
/
T6 if, while using, it emits unusual
smell, feels hot, or appears abnormal in any way.
•
In principle, the DEP
/
T6 does not contain field-replaceable parts. Therefore do
not open the appliance yourself and do not try to remove or open any parts. Only
an
Atos Worldline
or approved service staff should open the DEP
/
T6.
•
Take the necessary precautions to avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD). An
electrostatic charge can build up on the human body and then be discharged when
you touch a circuit board. ESD can damage equipment and impair electrical
circuitry.
