Problems during install

Very few problems are likely to be encountered.

Failure to connect to a GSM Network.

When the unit is first commissioned there are

two lights which let you know what is happening with the unit and network. Also
thought should be given when choosing the position of the unit so that it is not fully
shielded by metal which will interfere with the signal.

Obstruction

.

Preexisting mounts should be free from obstruction as the tank

manufacturers will have chosen a clear area of tank. Should holes need to be drilled in
an old tank and internal structures found then the probe can flex or snake around
minor obstructions. Caution must be taken to ensure that the cable is not damaged
by forcing round bends too sharply.

Water.

If the probe is too long it will enter any water that has collected at the bottom of

the tank. This causes a degradation in accuracy.

If you do encounter a problem during installation, please call Atlantis      on

Go to

www.smartguard.co

(or your supplier's website) and select the login page.

There you should find a registration page.

Begin the registration process. You will be prompted to enter the tank dimensions you
collected during the installation and commissioning of the SmartGuard* and setup
alarms and recipients.

From now on you may login and view the contents and usage information at
