If using synthetic pipes (e.g.: PEX, multi-layer, etc.), it is mandatory to fit a thermostatic control on
the water heater outlet if the set temperature is greater than 80 °C. It must be set according to the
performance of the material used.
Do not connect the hot water union directly to the copper pipes. It must be equipped with a
dielectric union (supplied with the appliance).
In the event of corrosion to the threads of the hot water union not equipped with this protection,
our warranty is invalid.
4.3. Primary circuit connection (for products with an internal exchanger)
Protect against overpressure due to the water expanding when heating via a 0.3 MPa (3 bar) valve,
or via an open type expansion tank (at atmospheric pressure) or via a closed type diaphragm
expansion tank. The working pressure of the circuit must not exceed 0.3 MPa (3 bar), its
temperature must not exceed 85 °C. When connecting to solar sensors, a glycol mixture must be
used to protect against frost and corrosion: "TYFOCOR L" type. In the case of an installation with a
stop valve at the inlet and outlet of the exchanger, never close the two valves at the same time to
avoid any risk of the coil bursting.
It is essential to provide a siphon for draining wastewater (the siphon must never be created using
the pipe supplied)
.
4.4. Condensate drainage
Depending on the humidity of the air,
up to 0.25 l/h of condensate
may
form. This condensate must not be drained directly into the sewer system,
because the ammonia vapours which flow back up the sewer system could
damage the fins of the heat exchanger and the components of the heat
pump.
The cooling of the circulating air in contact with the evaporator results in the condensation of the
water contained in the air. The flow of condensed water to the rear of the heat pump must be
guided by plastic pipes from the heat pump in order to evacuate the condensate.
