INSTALLATION 

Figure 2 – Installation of Pipe Collar and Pedestal Legs

• 

Remove access cover. 

Pipe Collar

• 

Place screen into pocket of the pipe collar. (Not applicable for Model 6 units)

• 

Position pipe collar and screen over outlet of the unit.

• 

Using the supplied ¼” hardware (3/8” long pan head screws, lock and flat washers) secure the pipe collar and screen to the 
enclosure. Tighten to prevent loosening during operation.

Pedestal Legs

• 

 Remove the pedestal leg assembly from inside the unit enclosure. (Not applicable for Model 6B-ASC)

• 

Attach the pedestal legs onto the outside of the enclosure.

Sanitary Conditioner

• 

Place pipe collar gasket onto the vent pipe.

• 

Place sanitary conditioner collar over vent pipe, onto gasket.

• 

Level the sanitary conditioner by adjusting pedestal legs. Once level, tighten locking nut against enclosure.

• 

Fasten collar to vent pipe using the supplied ¼”- 20 hex head bolts.

• 

Select suitable vent pipe. Attach tank vent.

Lamp Installation

Follow the steps in 

“Lamp Installation, Replacement, or Cleaning”

 in the 

“Maintenance”

 section.

Avoid exposure to direct or reflected germicidal ultraviolet rays. Germicidal 

ultraviolet rays are harmful to the eyes and skin.

Users of liquid storage tanks are cautioned to adopt suitable measures to prevent overpressure or vacuum within 

the  storage tank or liquid handling system. These conditions can result in structural damage and/or loss of the liquid contents.
