Setting of the synchronization ropes
To check the synchronization you could hear if the safety catches are touching the carriage in the same time, the
carriage which later touch must be tightened.
1. Raise lifts to a height of 100-200mm.
2. Remove the covers bands.
3. Unscrew the counter nut slightly.
4. Tight the traction rope using a flat wrench.
5. Tight back the counter nut .

A = Wire rope
B = Core
C = Stand
D =Wire
E = Center wire
F = One way length
An exchange of the synchronization ropes must be making by the next following relevant points:
1. Six randomly distributed broken wires within any one lay length
2. Three broken wires in one strand within one lay length
3. Corrosion that pits the wires and/or connectors.
4. Kinking, crushing, cutting, bird-caging or a popped core.
5.
Wear that exceeds 10% of a wire’s original diameter.
Emergency lowering In case of a power supply failure
1. To unlock the safety notches lift the carriages using a
suitable auxiliary lifting device approximately 30mm.
2. Unlock and fix manually the safety notches and lower the
carriage.
3. Repeat the steps 1 and 2 on the opposite carriage.
4. Switch off the lift and protect it against being switched on
again.
5. Turn the emergency descent screw (103) slowly to the
left (counterclockwise)
6. Once compleate, close the emergency descent screw
(103) by turning it to the right (clockwise)
