Lights
Your line buttons and DSS lights provide the visual cues
need to handle calls.
You use the lights next to the line
depending on the purpose of the

and DSS buttons differently,

Each line button has a red light and a green light next to it.
These lights provide the following information.

Meaning
Steady red
You are automatically connected to this
line when you lift the handset.
Steady green
A co-worker is using this line, or the
feature on this button is in use.
Steady red and
You are using this line.
green
Flashing green
An incoming call is on this line.
Fast flashing
green
You put a call on hold on this line.
Slow flashing
Another co-worker put a call on hold on
green
this line.
