Operating the menu functions
Pause cooking
This function stops the cooking activity temporarily (max. 20 minutes); timers and counters are
also paused.
1. Touch the menu key.

The menu options are displayed.
2. Touch the slide control at the position of the pause symbol.

3. Touch the slide control again at the position of the pause symbol to turn off the pause
function.

The hob will automatically switch off after 20 minutes if the pause function is not
switched off in the meantime.
Locking function
1. Switch on the hob.
2. Touch the menu key.
3. Touch and hold the slide control at the position of the locking symbol until symbol ‘L’
appears in all displays.

The hob is now locked. After 5 seconds, the hob will switch off automatically.
4. To unlock; switch on the hob and touch the menu key.
5. Touch and hold for at least 8 seconds the slide control at the position of the locking symbol
until symbol ‘L’ disappears.

The locking function is now de-activated.
