What is the most important benefit of the Xonar DG SI for gamers?

Will PCM sound output through S/PDIF be just 2 channels even with different
analog output channels?
The S/PDIF protocol specification (IEC-60958) can only carry 2-channel PCM
data or non-PCM AC3/DTS data. So, when a user selects PCM output for S/PDIF,
the Xonar sound card will always deliver 2 channel PCM data through the S/PDIF
output port.
Why is it that there are no sound effects when playing 96K sound sources?
Currently Xonar DG SI effects support common 44.1K, 48KHz sound sources
processing and will assure high-definition audio (192K) in hi-fidelity playback. This
is also usually the behavior that professional audiophiles and musicians prefer.
If you still want to have the effects, you can use some editing software (Ableton
Live, Cakewalk, CoolEdit, Soundforge, etc.) to convert the sounds into 48KHz files.
Please note that the frequency meter on Xonar DG SI Audio Center panel will not
take effect either when the playback source is 96KHz sample rate to prevent any
processing distortion.
