General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)
GPRS is a type of wireless access network. GPRS is used for MMS and
SMS, as well as WAP access. Your phone can have two simultaneous
GPRS connections, which means you can send and receive messages and
have an ongoing web session at the same time.
Contact your service provider for details about GPRS availability and
access.
Homepage
Selecting Homepage opens an internet browser. Browse by manually
entering URLs, or web addresses, or by accessing stored bookmarks. To
stop browsing, press
. When browsing, you can:
• Add the current address to your bookmarks
• Save a picture from the site
• Send a text message containing the current address (WAP Push)
• Set the current address to be the homepage for the current Profile
Linger Time
Sets an amount of time of no activity, after which the
phone disconnects.
Connect
Timeout
Sets a time limit for connection. If the phone does not
successfully connect within this time limit, it stops trying
to connect.
